Ok... so these images are from all three locations over the weekend starting with Marie Gabriel on Friday night, then the Crescent for an intimate ceremony and rockin' reception followed by a casual after party on top of the Stoneleigh hotel. Lauren and Max... thank you so much for having us. It was stunning.
We only had time for just a couple of portraits and I'm so grateful Lauren braved the cold to make this image
This painting was done by a friend of the couple and it was awesome!
The table arrangement for the rehearsal dinner was basically one long elegant row
These were favors from Friday's dinner, light and dark chocolate...
Lauren and her dad
Max gets roasted a little bit
Mom gives some advice to Lauren about her son
The dress
An amazing necklace and a gorgeous pair of heels
Lauren's bouquet
Mom slips some jewelry on Lauren
A little window light in the penthouse of the Stoneleigh
We caught this moment when the afternoon light peeked through the clouds just moments before heading down for the ceremony
Max
Dad checks the bow-tie
Monogrammed links
Lauren's sister was just days away from having her first child!
Dad spends a few moments with Lauren before the ceremony
Always one of my favorite moments of a wedding day
Love the light in the garden room
Max can't stop looking at Lauren... who could blame him?
The Garden Room
The rings
Max's sister gives the first reading
Lauren's sister gets a little teary eyed during the Irish blessing she read to end the ceremony
The kiss
Love mom's look and Lauren's smile
Married!

Love this moment...

A quickie portrait
A very cool monogram for the wedding

The Ballroom

Cuvee - an awesome local band

One of the many different centerpieces

The Cake

In lieu of a grooms cake, a tower of cupcakes!

Just before coming down for their grand entrance Lauren and Max had a quick toast with some friends
On the way downstairs

A very well executed dance from both of them... it was gorgeous

First dance #2

A welcome and blessing from Lauren's father
Gotta love moments like this....
Lauren gives her dad a quick touch up
Cake
OK.. so Max is the first guy I've met to get married on his birthday... and a surprise cake was delivered during the reception.
He had to stretch it for the last candle
A quick exit from the reception and we were off to the Stoneleigh
Now the dance moves come out... :)
Almost every room was lit entirely with candlelight as guests spent time talking and dancing into the early morning hours
The zebra staircase is a trademark of this space and I had to make one quick portrait here because it matched her dress so well.
Goodnight!!
